I am not the best chess player in the World and I won't pretend to be but Chess With Friends Free has allowed me to refamiliarize myself with the game I once loved. What I enjoy most is that I can play at my own pace. However, unlike Words With Friends, you will quickly find that this game is nowhere near as popular and that setting up games with friends and family may not be as easy. You can always do an instant match with someone looking for a game, but that takes just a little bit of the joy away. The game is free in the App Store if you don't mind the ads. There is also an add-free version if that is the route you want to go with for a price of $2.99. The bottom line is that Chess With Friends Free is a great way to connect with fellow chess enthusiasts and play a game at your own leisure.
