This week my  "iOS Pick"    was a case for the iPhone 4 from Case-Mate call the "Barely There" case.
I have owned a lot of devices and a lot of cases for those devices. I honestly tend to buy a good half a dozen cases through the phone's short lifespan it shares with me. I have owned all kinds of cases. I have had extreme condition cases made to protect the iPhone from most natural disasters. I have owned extended battery cases. I have owned a couple of Apple's very own "Bumper" cases and a few select sliders and silicone models as well but I have finally settled on one that I think beats them all. It is called the "Barely There" case from Case-Mate. It features one of the most minimalist designs I have ever seen and at first glance you may not even notice the case on your iPhone. The one I purchased comes in matte black and looks slick. It is not a fingerprint magnet like a lot of the glossier black cases. It does have a cutout in back so everyone will still know that you're rocking the iPhone 4. It covers the sides of the device as well with cutouts to all your buttons and ports. It does not offer protection for the front so don't drop it! However, if you are looking to protect your device from the daily wear and tear of picking it up, setting it down and just sliding it around, then this is your case. I was also amazed to see how resistant the case was from scratches. I have had this case now for a couple months and the case is still without a single blemish. I find this case to be a bargain and a beauty. Pick one up for yourself and thank me later. There are other colors available but I wouldn't bother. The black one almost makes your forget there is a case on your iPhone 4 to begin with.
